STUDENTS
Your health. Our priority.
MyHealth Saint Francis at Saint Francis provides care and treatment for sudden, short term illness and injuries. The illnesses common to young adult college students include colds, sinus infections, stomach viruses, urinary tract infections, pink eye, rashes and sprains.
Students who have more severe illnesses, injuries that need further evaluation or chronic medical problems may be referred back to their primary care doctor or to a specialist.
The health center staff will schedule both in-person and telemedicine appointments for students. Appointments may be scheduled by calling 814-472-3008.
EMPLOYEES
Convenient Campus Care
Did you know that as an employee of Saint Francis University you can access a suite of health care services at little to no cost right here on campus (even if you do not have insurance through the university)?
Thanks to our partnership with UPMC, employees can conveniently access even more services through Saint Francis University’s Health Center in the DiSepio Institute of Rural Health and Wellness.
Appointments may be scheduled by calling 814-472-3008. For telemedicine the UPMC AnywhereCare app is free for employees and their spouses until 5 pm.
Meet The Staff
The Health Center is staffed by a
registered nurse
licensed practical nurse
medical assistant
and a client accounts manager.
We have partnered with UPMC to provide telemedicine for acute illness and injury. We now also offer on-campus appointments with established healthcare professionals including a nurse practitioner and a primary care physician. Most services are provided free of charge however physician services may need to be billed.
We work closely with other areas such as the Center for Well-Being, the UPMC Center for Rehabilitation Services, Sports Medicine, and Exercise Physiology departments to promote health and wellness on the campus of SFU.
After-Hours Care
Not all illnesses and injuries happen during regular office hours. For medical assistance outside normal business hours or during weekends/holidays, the options below are available.
Transportation
Emergency transportation is available by Cresson Area Ambulance Association if immediate transportation is needed.
