Red Flash Fall Ball Tunes Up Team for the Regular Season
Loretto, Pa. (Sept. 29, 2007) - The Saint Francis women’s lacrosse team will launch the prequel to their 2008 Northeast Conference docket when they travel to Baltimore, Md. on Saturday, Sept. 29th to square off against the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays at Homewood Field at 2pm and the Villanova Wildcats at 3pm. Hopkins earned their first ever NCAA Division I tournament win last season by defeating a strong Hofstra team. The Wildcats finished the season 7-9, earning their last victory of the 2007 season on the home turf of the Red Flash. These two teams will show where the Red Flash stand as they prepare for the regular season.
On Oct. 6th, the Red Flash make their way across the state to Downington, Pa. for another preseason tune up when they tangle with the Lafayette Leopards at 10:20am and the Long Island Blackbirds at 1:50pm.
