Red Flash Lacrosse Home Opener Cancelled Due to Inclement Weather

Loretto, Pa. - After two days with temperatures close to the low 50s this past week, the Saint Francis lacrosse team (0-2) was forced to delay their home opener against the Niagara University Purple Eagles (1-1) due to a winter weather advisory in effect until 1:00am early Sunday morning.  The cancellation was in the best interest of both players and fans, alike for safety precautions.

Saint Francis has had to delay two games prior to the cancellation against Niagara.  The Red Flash delayed games against Longwood and Navy.  Saint Francis has already made up their tilt against Navy on Tuesday, March 4, when SFU fell to the Midshipmen 24-0.  Saint Francis' bout with Longwood is stil in deliberation to when the game is to made up.

Saint Francis will reschedule their game aginast Niagara University, yet the time and date are yet to be set.

The Flash will commence play when they travel to Washington D.C. on Wednesday, March 12 to take on Howard University at 12:00pm.
