 Application for Admission

All applicants are responsible for submitting a complete application packet to the Education Department. This packet will include:
     - completed and signed application form;
     - non-refundable application fee of $30.00, in the form of a check or money order made payable to Saint Francis University;
     - two (2) letters of professional recommendation;
     - one (1) letter of personal recommendation;
     - *Graduate Record Exam or Millers Analogy Test scores

**Effective Fall 2005: GRE or MAT required if the applicants undergraduate QPA is less than 2.8.

Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate course work completed by the applicant must be sent directly from the college/university to the Education Department. (Copies from student will not be accepted.)

School Principal or Special Education Supervisor applicants must also submit the following:
     - an essay discussing the candidate's philosophy of educational leadership;
     - a copy of candidate's Instructional I or II certificate.

Reading Specialist applicants must also submit:
     - a copy of candidate's Instructional I or II certificate.
     - a
n essay discussing the Role of the Reading Specialist

Superintendent/IU Executive Director Letter of Eligibility applicants must submit:
     - three letters of recommendation (one from a seated Superintendent);
     - a copy of state issued Professional Certificate;
     - documentation of six years of educational experience must currently be an acting administrator or supervisor;
     - proof of three complete years as a practicing administrator prior to applying for certification from the state.

If you were referred by a graduate of the Master of Education Program, please complete this form and submit along with your application to any of the Graduate Education programs. A gift will be sent to the person who referred you once your application packet is processed.
