International Admissions Application Process

International students are welcome to apply to Saint Francis University for the Fall or Spring semesters. Saint Francis University operates on rolling admission. To be given full consideration, we recommend international students submit their completed application by the dates listed below. Applications received after these dates will be considered on a case by case basis.

Fall Semester – August 1st
Spring Semester – December 1st

Admission Procedures

  • Submit Saint Francis University’s application for admission (including $30.00 non-refundable fee).
  • Submit official high school transcripts. Transcripts must be translated by the high school or an international credential evaluating agency. We recommend World Education Services
  • Students are required to submit SAT or ACT scores. If the student is from a non English speaking country, please submit TOEFL or IELTS scores.
  • A minimum of one letter of recommendation is required.
  • A writing sample.
  • Previous coursework from international colleges and universities will be considered for transfer credit on a case-by-case basis. For courses to be considered for transfer credit, they will need to be submitted to an international credential evaluation agency for a course by course evaluation. These courses must be a C grade or better and comparable to a course offered at Saint Francis University.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

  • Students will be considered for merit scholarships based upon their application and supporting materials.
  • To apply for financial aid, students must submit Saint Francis University’s International Financial Aid application.

Immigration Requirements

  • Saint Francis University will send an I-20 to students who complete the following steps:
  • Students must be accepted to Saint Francis.
  • A Saint Francis University International Financial Aid application must be filed.
  • The affidavit of financial support must be submitted.
