Two Saint Francis University Chemistry Students Selected to Present Research in Harrisburg
Two Saint Francis University chemistry students were selected to present their undergraduate research at Pennsylvania's state capitol in Harrisburg on October 2. The students were part of the Undergraduate Research at the Capitol of Pennsylvania event designed to bring college students, faculty, and Pennsylvania legislators together to discuss the importance of undergraduate research in education.
The poster chosen to go to the capitol was selected from presentations made in July at the SFU Undergraduate Research Symposium at the end of eight weeks of summer research guided by Dr. Rose Clark. Kim Schrock from Beaverdale, PA and David Kirby from Summerhill, PA, presented their poster entitled “Investigation of Cytochrome c Electron Transfer Kinetics and Formal Potential with Varying Composition of Self-Assembled Monolayers”.
