“Healthy Mom, Healthy Baby” event at Saint Francis University on November 7
Saint Francis University’s DiSepio Institute for Rural Health and Wellness will host a special event for expectant mothers, “Healthy Mom, Healthy Baby.” The one-day, interactive workshop will be held 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, on the University’s Loretto campus. Participants will be offered several sessions over the course of the day including sessions on nutrition, infant massage instruction, prenatal exercise, relaxation techniques, car seat safety, and Infant/Child CPR certification.
The registration fee is $40 and will include a nutritious breakfast and lunch. The emphasis is on health for both mother and baby during this important time. This workshop is sponsored by the DiSepio Institute for Rural Health and Wellness and the Saint Francis University Occupational Therapy Department. Space is limited.
