Saint Francis University to offer second Robotics Mini-Camp

June 4, 2012

Due to the overwhelming interest in the Robotics Mini-Camp in June, Saint Francis University will offer a second camp on July 23-25 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the campus of Saint Francis University.

This camp is open to children in grades 4 through 8 as well as adults who are interested in potentially coaching a FIRST LEGO League team. The camp fee is $30. Prospective adult coaches and their student teams are encouraged to register together, but students and coaches can also register separately. The camp is being held to introduce FIRST LEGO League, and to train students and prospective adult coaches for possible participation in the FIRST LEGO League to be held at Saint Francis in December.

The Robotics Mini-Camp program is made possible through the generous support of the Female Alliance for STEM Excellence through the PA Girls' Collaborative Project and the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies. The regional FIRST Lego League is sponsored in part by the generous support of the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies
