Transfer Admissions At Saint Francis we’ve been helping students of all types to reach higher and go further than they ever dreamed. We offer flexible transfer programs for students from accredited 2 year and 4 year colleges and universities. Once you are here, you’ll discover that whatever you do, and wherever you go, you can reach it from here. PROCEDURE FOR TRANSFER ADMISSION
Students can transfer into Saint Francis University at the start of any semester. The university operates on rolling admission and encourages students to apply by the following dates:
Fall: August 1st Spring: December 1st Summer: April 1st Submit the application for admission and include the $30.00 application fee. Submit an official transcript and from each college previously attended.
A College Clearance Form (CCF) is required from each institution where you have earned 9 or more credits in a given semester and left for reasons other than graduation. Submit a high school transcript with record of SAT or ACT scores. (If you’ve been out of high school 5 years or more you do not need to submit SAT/ACT scores.)
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Transfer candidates must have a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative grade point average and 12 transferable credits to be considered for admission to Saint Francis University.
Transfer candidates must have a minimum of a 2.8 cumulative grade point average to gain admission into the Nursing program. Transfer candidates must have a minimum of a 2.75 cumulative grade point average to gain admission into the Occupational Therapy program. The Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant programs do not accept undergraduate transfer students.
If you are admitted to degree candidacy while still enrolled at another institution, you must maintain the required cumulative grade point average and remain in good academic standing during your most recent semester at that institution. TRANSFER CREDIT Grades of “C” or better from accredited 2 and 4 year colleges and universities will be considered for transfer credit.
Developmental, review, or remedial courses are not transferable. Only a maximum of 64 credits can be transferred into the university. Students who have attended Pennsylvania community colleges and state universities can review course equivalencies at PA Trac. Military credits can be considered for transfer credit. SECOND DEGREE Candidate’s for a second bachelor’s degree must complete a minimum of 32 credits at Saint Francis University.
Six credits of Religious Studies must be completed at Saint Francis University in order to fulfill core requirements.
