About Dr. Denise Damico

Education

Biography

Denise Holladay Damico grew up in Texas and Colorado; every day she is grateful to be a history professor at Saint Francis University (Pennsylvania). Her teaching interests include U.S. History, environmental history, gender history, and African American history. Her research interests also encompass borderlands history and pop culture. She is currently writing an open source textbook on U.S. History to 1877; draft version available at https://freehistory.space/u-s-history-to-1877/.
