New partnership to help students complete education goals

March 6, 2014

Earning a bachelor’s degree is now easier for DuBois Business College students because of a collaborative agreement between the college and Saint Francis University. Students who earn an associate degree at DuBois Business College may now transfer to Saint Francis University’s adult degree & continuing studies program to earn a bachelor’s degree.

Credits from DuBois Business College will easily transfer to Saint Francis’s adult degree & continuing studies program and students will receive the program’s discounted rate. Students may also transfer into the traditional day program and may receive a scholarship. Financial aid is also available for students who qualify.

Those who enter Saint Francis’ adult degree program can register for classes in convenient locations in Loretto, Altoona, State College, Johnstown, or online. Classes are offered during the day, evening, and Saturdays.

"We look forward to this new partnership between DuBois Business and Saint Francis, and want to help students fulfill their career and educational goals. Our advisors are available to help DuBois students throughout the application process, help them get oriented and transitioned, and guide them along their journey to a bachelor's degree," said Dr. Julie Barris, director of adult degree & continuing studies at Saint Francis.

Students who are interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree through Saint Francis may contact the adult degree and continuing studies office at 814-472-3012 or oce@francis.edu.
