    Experience SFU your way

Don’t just go to college…participate in it!  Saint Francis is one big social network and you’re invited to join in!  Outside of the awesome education you will receive here, you will also meet a lot of great people from across the country and around the globe that are interested in what you’re interested in.  It all starts with getting involved! Best of all, it’s all about what you would like to do.  With a strong and empowered Student Government Association (SGA), the SFU student body is constantly creating new opportunities, new clubs and organizations, and leading new movements that shape their college experience.  So, it’s worth repeating: Don’t just go to college…participate in it!

    Greek Life
Greek Life at Saint Francis University is a historical character and leadership development experience.  First established on campus by the Franciscan Friars in the 1940's, Saint Francis University's Greek Life community stands as the oldest Greek system at any Catholic college in the US.  Fraternities and Sororities provide endless opportunities for scholastic achievement, leadership development, community service outreach, philanthropic initiative, and life-long fellowship. Greek Life plays a very important part in the development of students and the overall student-life culture at Saint Francis University.  The recognized Greek Life organizations represent the very best and brightest student-leaders at Saint Francis University.  The SFU Greek Life program seeks to establish integrated learning opportunities that will fully incorporate the core competencies of the F.L.A.S.H. Leadership Initiative.

    GREEK LIFE for MEN: FRATERNITIES
"The substance of the college fraternity is brotherhood - an elusive commodity which tends to withdraw inside a state of mystery when one attempts to describe it. It is understood more effectively through the heart and the spirit than through the mind. Nevertheless in this intangible quality lies the great value of fraternity, and unless one understands the meaning of it, one simply cannot understand the college fraternity very well." - Unknown

    GREEK LIFE for WOMEN: SORORITIES
"Sisterhood is the essence of all the wisdom of the ages, distilled into a single word. You cannot see sisterhood, nor can you hear it or taste it. But you can feel it a hundred times a day. It is a pat on the back, a smile of encouragement. It's someone to share with, to celebrate your achievements." - Anonymous
