The Ernest J. Scharpf Family Conference Center is on the second floor of the DiSepio Institute and enables individuals to communicate with the world through voice, video, and data technologies. Equipped with videoconferencing capability and high-tech audiovisual equipment, the main space of the Center is a symposium room for 90 people, which is divisible by a retractable wall into two separate rooms. A large pre-conference area outside the symposium room is available for informal gatherings, display tables, or food service. Smaller sessions can be accommodated in the Executive Conference Room, seating up to 20 people, and the Health and Wellness Seminar Room, seating up to 40 people. As with the whole of the Institute's construction, the Center electronic infrastructure is fiber optic throughout, all spaces have full wireless capability, and there is wired back-up in all critical areas.
