I started the MED program in January 2009 and completed it in the summer of 2011. The program was easy to enroll in and the staff at SFU is outstanding. As an adult student going back to school I was apprehensive about taking classes again but once I started all the professors went out of their way to insure I understood the material and took the time to meet with me when I had questions. I remember calling several of them on their personal cell phones at home and they didn’t mind answering your questions, whether it was the weekend or not.The professors made the experience very personable and to this day I feel I could call anyone of them and seek their expert advice. They knew most of us had families and other jobs and were very understanding when it came to scheduling. I also have to add the terrific help I had from Sherri Toth. I can’t tell you the number of times I called her and she always had an answer. She was very understanding and sent us all emails reminding us of deadlines. Thanks to all the office staff, professors, and our advisor. You truly made this a terrific and exciting experience.
