Our Dorothy Day Center (DDC) distributed about 100 lbs. of food for their Thanksgiving distribution last week. 108 families each received food, hygiene products, Christmas ornaments, a turkey, and bags with scarves, hats, gloves, sweat pants, and sweaters.
The drive was initiated by State Representatives Gary Haluska (center) and Frank Burns (left); also pictured with them is Mary Adams of the DDC. Food was also collected by the students and employees at Saint Michael's School in Loretto and Saint Francis.
