    What is FIRST® LEGO® League?

Children, grades 4-8, are immersed in real-world science and technology challenges. Teams build LEGO-based robots and develop research projects. Through their participation, children develop valuable life skills and discover exciting career possibilities while learning that they can make a positive contribution to society.

For students, it's the hardest fun you'll ever have.
For team mentors, coaches, and volunteers, it's the most rewarding adventure you'll ever undertake.
For sponsors, it's the most enlightened investment you could ever make.

    How it works:

FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL®) introduces young people, grades 4-8, to the fun and excitement of science and technology while building self-confidence, knowledge, and valuable employment and life skills. FLL challenges kids to think like scientists and engineers. Alongside adult Mentors, FLL teams solve problems using engineering concepts, presentation techniques, and robots.
