International First Year Students are welcome to apply to Saint Francis University for the Fall or Spring semesters. The university operates on rolling admissions and has a January 15th deadline for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy majors and a December 1st deadline for Physician Assistant majors. Transfer students may also be considered for enrollment.

Additional information required of International Transfer Students:
Any applicant, who does not meet the English proficiency requirement, but, has a strong academic record, may be admitted to the University and will enroll in the University’s intensive English program, for appropriate course work, until suitable English proficiency is acquired. Students seeking conditional admission to the University’s intensive English program are not required to submit the Personal Statement in English. You may insert this phrase in the application essay instead of writing your own essay: “I am applying for conditional admission to SFU and want to attend the intensive English program.”
Saint Francis University has generous assistance available to international students. All international applicants will be considered for merit scholarships ranging from $3,000 to $10,000.International students may also be eligible for institutional need base grants. To be considered for any institutional grants, all applicants must submit both the International Financial Aid application and affidavit of financial support.
To receive an I-20, a student must complete the steps listed below. Once all information is received, Saint Francis University will issue the I-20.
