Biography

Lisa (Lightner) Georgiana is the Interfaith Campus Minister at Saint Francis University. In her role as part of the Campus Ministry team, she helps design, implement and evaluate programs of spiritual and religious significance for students.

Prior to this appointment, she was President of the Georgiana Group, a strategic marketing and public relations firm that was established in Pittsburgh in 1998. She earned her master's degree in public policy and management, and bachelor's degree in industrial management from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). She is CMU's third-time all-time basketball leading scorer with 1,346 career points. In 2012, she was named to CMU's 25th Anniversary AAU Team, recognizing her contribution to the women's basketball program.

She is also an adjunct instructor in the University's Department of Business Administration. Active in the community, Georgiana is a member of the Blair County Sports Hall of Fame Planning and Selection Committee; Vice President of the BG Alumni Association; Board Member of the CMU Tartan Athletics Club; and is involved with the Greg & Cathy Griffith Foundation.

She is a member of St. Michael the Archangel parish where she is a lector and Eucharist Minister, and teacher in the Vacation Bible School. An advocate for Catholic education, she resides in Hollidaysburg with her husband John, and her children Dominic and Giana who attend Hollidaysburg Catholic School.
