Biography

Dr. Kagarise is a board-certified Physician Assistant and a Diplomate of the Accreditation Council for Clinical Lipidology as a Clinical Lipid Specialist. Dr. Kagarise joined Saint Francis in 1998 and has assumed both teaching and leadership roles within the University. She has developed and taught courses across a number of graduate level health science programs including; Physician Assistant Sciences, Master of Medical Science, Master of Health Science and Master of Public Health, teaching online. Dr Kagarise is founder of the SFU online Master of Health Science program and was faculty coordinator and Program Director for the development of online educational programs for Navy Independent Duty Corpsmen through the University’s Center of Excellence for Remote and Medically Under-Served Areas.

 

Dr. Kagarise has been an invited presenter for continuing medical education series, corporate wellness programs and has served as a moderator for pharmaceutical hyperlipidemia roundtables. With over 20 years of experience in distance education, she has presented at national teaching and distance-based conferences including The Teaching Professor Conference and the Instructional Technology Council eLearning Conference.
