NCW Poster Contest
The Saint Francis University Chemistry Club sponsors the local contest for the National Chemistry Week Poster Contest. The Chemistry Club also sponsors the local Poster Contest associated with Earth Day. The winners of the local contest typically receive a cash award of $25. The winning posters are then submitted to the Pittsburgh Regional Contest sponsored by the American Chemical Society.
The poster contests are open to students in grades K-12 from the local area including the counties of Cambria, Blair, Bedford, Somerset, and Clearfield. The themes for the posters are announced at the beginning of the contest period. Posters may be submitted through participating teacher classrooms or by individual students and their parents.
