Pre-Med and Other Professional Programs

Pre-professional is a category for students who intend to enter a professional school after graduating with their bachelor’s degrees. "Pre-professional" is not a major in itself, rather it is a specialized concentration with tailored advising to help you meet your post-graduation goals. 

 Program Highlights:

• Specialized advising for students looking to enter medical, dental, pharmacy, veterinary, chiropractic, and other graduate programs 
• A medical-school-of-choice acceptance rate of more than 95 percent.
• Small classes and a 20:1 student-to-teacher ratio, with opportunities to find mentors and develop strong working relationships with classmates.
• Highly qualified faculty members eager to share their experience and research in biology and chemistry.
• Accelerated “3+4” programs that enable students in strong academic standing to advance to graduate school after three years at Saint Francis.
• Practical experience in such settings as emergency rooms and family practitioners’ offices.
