At the June 2012 meeting of the Saint Francis University Board of Trustees, Rev. Gabriel J. Zeis, T.O.R., announced his plan to retire from the University presidency as his planned 10-year term nears completion in 2013.
As a result of the 10-year tenure of Zeis coming to a close, the Sacred Heart Province of the Third Order Regular and the University’s Board of Trustees are working to finalize the details of a presidential transition plan.
The province and trustees are seeking a successor who will continue the commitment to fundraising, strategic academic growth, and campus development. A short list of candidates is under consideration with an announcement expected within 2013.
