    Christine (Roos) Bender '08 and her husband Daniel Bender '08 reconnected with their Saint Francis ties in the Dominican Republic as part of a contingent of medical providers and students volunteering on the Hugs United 2011 mission trip. Christine earned her bachelor of science in health science degree in 2008 and her master of physician assistant science degree in 2009.

    • Human cadaver anatomy used in the Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant Sciences curricula.
