Upward Bound Program to Sponsor Summer Food Service Program

 The Saint Francis University Upward Bound Program is participating in the 2013 Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all eligible Upward Bound students free of charge from Sunday, June 16th through Friday, July 26th; our organization operates for Upward Bound participants from Cambria County. To be eligible to receive free meals at a residential camp, children must meet the income guidelines for reduced price meals in the National School Lunch Program. Children who are part of households that receive food stamps or benefits under the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) or Temporary Assistance to Needy Family (TANF) are automatically eligible to receive free meals.

Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. The meals will be available for all eligible Upward Bound students at Torvian Dining Hall at Saint Francis University.
