Dr. Gross is currently serving as the Coordinator of Curriculum and Instruction for the Indiana Area School District. Prior to his current position, he served as the Senior High School Principal in the Somerset, Shade-Central City, and Berlin-Brothers Valley School Districts. Prior to his experiences as a building principal, he served as Supervisor of Special Education for Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 and as a special education teacher in the School District of Lancaster and the School District of the City of York.
Dr. Gross earned a Bachelor of Education Degree in Special Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Education Degree in School Administration from Western Maryland College, and a Doctor of Education Degree in School Administration and Leadership from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has presented at numerous state-level conferences for the Pennsylvania School Boards Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Elementary and Secondary School Principals. In addition to teaching graduate classes, he continues to provide professional development for various local organizations and universities.
He enjoys the outdoors, attending athletic events, and spending time with his wife Kelly, son Alex, and daughter Alison.
