  • Help lead YOUR Alumni Association

    Are you interested in serving on the Alumni Association Board of Directors? The Association is always looking for alumni who are eager to serve.

    Board Member Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Working with the Director of Alumni Relations, board members: 
    • Lead and manage the Saint Francis University Alumni Association.
    • Participate in and serve as hosts for Alumni Association activities.
    • Attend and actively participate in Board meetings, (at least three out of four meetings annually).
    • Actively serve on at least one committee, based on the Board member’s talents and interests.
    • Nominate alumni to fill vacancies on the Board.
    • Work with Director of Alumni Relations and other Saint Francis University staff to support their efforts on behalf of alumni.
    • Maintain sufficient knowledge of the University to be an effective ambassador of the University in the community.
    • Notify the Director of Alumni Relations of any information (accomplishments, job changes, deaths) about Saint Francis University alumni found in home area news media.
    • Support efforts to connect alumni with one another and with the University.
    • Represent the views, interests and opinions of alumni to the Alumni Association Board and the University.
    • Define and monitor the schedule of events organized by the Alumni Association to engage alumni. 
    • Provide timely responses to information requests and other matters that arise outside regularly scheduled Board meetings.
