Saint Francis named a Catholic College of Distinction

August 27, 2013

Colleges of Distinction recently named Saint Francis a 2013-14 Catholic College of Distinction. Saint Francis was one of eight Catholic universities in Pennsylvania and one of 70 Catholic colleges in the nation to receive this honor.

To be chosen as a Catholic College of Distinction, schools must excel at four unique distinctions: engaged students, great teaching, vibrant communities, and successful outcomes.

Saint Francis students are involved in more than 50 campus clubs and organizations. They serve their community and the globe through unique service opportunities. Locally, students are involved in service projects through Reaching Every Door, the Dorothy Day Center, and the Knights of Columbus. Internationally, Saint Francis students volunteer in countries such as Honduras, Bolivia, and the Dominican Republic.
