Biography

Ed Zablocki has been a Secular Franciscan since 1982, when he was professed along with his wife, Mary. They live in Buffalo, NY, and are the proud parents of two sons, Francis and Paul. In his service to the Order, Ed has been Vice Minister of Holy Name Secular Franciscan Province, editor of the Provincial newsletter, and co-chair with Mary of the National Work Commission. Ed helped coordinate two national conferences held at St. Bonaventure University for Secular Franciscans: the first All Commissions’ Conference in 1999 and the Robert M. Stewart Memorial Seminar, The Blessing of Penance: Our Past, Our Future in 2003. Ed’s writing has been published in TAU-USA and The Cord. Ed has served on the Advisory Board of the Institute for Contemporary Franciscan Life since 2001.

Ed has worked in research administration at the University at Buffalo since 1983. He has a BS in psychology and a MS in the area of public affairs/ public administration.
