Jeffrey L. Savino, has been named vice president for finance and administration at Saint Francis. As vice president for finance and administration, Savino is responsible for strategic leadership and management of all core financial and business functions that directly serve and support all aspects of campus life. Savino, who assumed his duties on January 13, has 19 years of progressively responsible experience in higher education and corporate finance in areas such as finance, budget development and planning, capital planning, and other related areas. He was the controller at Juniata College. Before working in higher education he was director of finance and controller at Hoss’s Steak and Sea House, and a staff accountant at Raystay Corporation of Carlisle.
Savino holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He resides in Altoona with his wife, Amy, and their three children.
