Biography
Prior to coming to SFU, I served as a Special Education Director for a rural school district. I taught middle school for 15 years including English as a Second Language.
I have been married to my husband for 22 years and have 5 children (4 boys and 1 girl). I have one grandson, Hudson. During my free time, I love to spend time with my 11 dachshunds.
I am currently in the process of earning my Doctorate of Special Education. My dissertation is focused on visual literacy and students who are deaf and utilize cochlear implants.
