Biography

Dr. Waldow is a Catholic theologian who practices theology in accord with the principles given in St. John Paul II's Ex Corde Ecclesiae. He teaches courses in systematic, historical, biblical, and moral theology. He has published articles in The Heythrop Journal, The International Journal of Systematic Theology, and New Blackfriars. His most recent publication is a book with the Catholic University of America Press entitled The Suffering Servant in Aquinas: Isaiah 53 and Thomas's Theology of Christ's Passion. He has forthcoming essays on the relationship between religion and politics in the Bible and biblical teaching on sexuality, respectively. He is currently working on a book which provides a scholarly introduction to Catholic soteriology.
