About Dr. Gregory Stacey

Biography:
Before arriving at Saint Francis from England in 2024, Dr Stacey taught Theology and Philosophy of Religion at leading UK universities including Bristol, Birmingham, and Leeds. From 2018-2022, he also served as Co-ordinator for Catholic Formation in the Diocese of Leeds, providing formation to catechists and other lay people. His research, published in journals including Faith and Philosophy, Religious Studies, and New Blackfriars, seeks to show the compatibility of faith and reason by bringing Catholic theology into conversation with modern analytic philosophy. Dr Stacey is passionate about helping students at Saint Francis to consider the rationality of Christianity and its relevance for their lives.
