Biography

Ms. Williams brings a wealth of clinical experience and leadership to nursing education, shaping the next generation of professionals in maternal and newborn care. Her diverse career includes serving as Unit Director of Labor, Delivery, and Level II NICU at UPMC Altoona, where she previously held roles as a Clinician and Staff RN. She also expanded her expertise as an OB Travel RN throughout the UPMC system. 

Ms. Williams holds certification in External Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) through the National Certification Corporation (NCC) and is an active instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Additionally, she serves as an Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Instructor with AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses). A certified Pennsylvania EMT-B, she continues to serve her community through local ambulance work in her spare time. Her professional interests include maternal-child health, nursing education, and leadership in healthcare.
