About Dr. Larissa Clachar

Biography
Dr. Clachar joined the faculty at Saint Francis in 2021. Her areas of academic interest include XIX century literature, XIX century transatlantic relations, US Latino literature and women’s issues. Her current research focuses on teaching Spanish to medical professionals who will be working with Spanish speakers and is always looking for ways to engage in service opportunities and expose students to real life situations like the MOM PA clinics. She leads the Spanish Club and SDP the Hispanic Honor Society.
