12 SFU soccer players named to 2024 CSC Academic All-District Team

Saint Francis University proudly announces that 12 RedFlash Soccer players have been named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

The association announced Tuesday that SFU men's soccer players Joel Aschenbroich, Ty Mikula, Maximus Rigby, Joschi Schelb, Tom Schellbach, and Fabian Wagner were named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team along with women's soccer players Rita Kendziora, Raine Korpics, Mercedez Paino, Lauren Pyle, Emma Sawich and Rory Schaeffer.

In order to be eligible to earn a CSC Academic All-District selection, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, own a grade point average above 3.50 and must compete in 90 percent of contests or start in at least 66 percent of contests.
