Fall 2024 Gallery Exhibition Schedule Announced at Saint Francis University Connors Family Fine Arts Center

The Connors Family Fine Arts Center at Saint Francis University is pleased to announce its Fall 2024 gallery exhibition schedule. This season’s lineup features a diverse array of artists and events aimed at engaging the community through the visual arts.

The Visual Arts Gallery inside The Connors Family Fine Arts Center at Saint Francis University is open to the public from 9 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday. Through the Lens: Luke Lamb
Exhibition Dates: August 30 – September 27, 2024
Closing Reception: Thursday, September 26, 2024, 3–5 PM

Student Photographer Luke Lamb presents a collection of works that explore subjects through his distinctive lens. The closing reception will offer a chance to meet the artist and dive deeper into his creative process.

The Life of Saint Francis of Assisi: Prints by Father Dominic Scotto, T.O.R.
Exhibition Dates: October 3 – November 1, 2024
Preview Reception: Thursday, October 3, 2024, 3–5 PM

This exhibition showcases prints created by Father Dominic Scotto, T.O.R. inspired by the life and legacy of Saint Francis of Assisi. The exhibit’s goal is to honor the connection with the University’s namesake and to spark conversations on Franciscan values, particularly among the student body. (CES credits available to students)

Art After Dark: Intro to Drawing/Painting
Exhibition Dates: November 7– December 6, 2024
Preview Reception: Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024, 3–5 PM

This exhibit celebrates visual arts students at SFU and allows them to showcase their creative works from the semester.


Open House Event
Date: Saturday, November 16, 2024, Noon–4 PM
Featuring the People’s Choice Awards
William N. Campbell, Poppy Project

High school students are invited to submit artwork created using poppies in honor of veterans to the William N. Campbell Poppy Project each year. The public can vote for their favorite piece during the University’s Fall Open House.
