Saint Francis University Announces 2025 Summer Academies for High School Students
Loretto, PA –Jan. 31, 2025 – Saint Francis University is excited to announce its 2025 Summer Academies, offering high school students entering grades 10–12 an immersive pre-college experience. These residential programs provide a unique opportunity for students to explore academic interests, develop hands-on skills, and prepare for college life while engaging with expert faculty and like-minded peers.
The Summer Academies will take place on the Saint Francis University campus during two sessions: June 22–25, 2025, and July 6–9, 2025. Participants will explore subjects such as health sciences, writing, and the arts in a structured environment designed to foster personal growth and academic development. By engaging in real-world experiences and learning directly from university faculty, students will gain valuable insights that can help shape their future educational and career paths.
The cost for the full residential experience, which includes tuition, housing, and meals, is $649, while the commuter rate is $399. An optional CPR certification is available for an additional $40. Discounts are available for Saint Francis University employee dependents, siblings of attendees, and students enrolling in multiple academies.
Additionally, students who complete a Summer Academy and later enroll as full-time students at Saint Francis University within 28 months of high school graduation will be eligible for a $1,000 per year scholarship, renewable for up to four years. Educators, counselors, and community organizations are encouraged to share this opportunity with students who may benefit from an engaging and educational summer experience.
