Exercise Physiology volunteers for YMCA Community Challenge Series

On an early Saturday morning, starting at 6:15am, Mr. Steiner, Dr. Stehman and 9 Exercise Physiology students [Noah Anderson (So EXPH), Connor Sanders (Fr EXPT), Tobey Jamnik (Jr EXPH), Ethan Schriver (Jr EXPH), Danielle Goedhart (Sr EXPH), Azjia Gardner (Sr EXPH), Madelynn Kessler (So EXPT), Marezy Anderson (1Y DPT), and Colleen Roche (Sr EXPH) volunteered their time to help with the YMCA Race of Champions.  The race consisted of a 5K Run, 2-mile Run, and a 2-mile Walk starting and finishing at Blair Candy in Altoona, PA.  The students helped set up the finish line, then worked at a water station or passed out water at the finish line, then helped with tear down.  The couple students decided to run the 5K Race with Marezy Anderson finishing as the Top Overall Female and Danielle Goedhart and Azjia Gardner achieving first and third place respectively for their age group!!
