Saint Francis University has landed on the prestigious list of Forbes 2022 America’s Top 500 Colleges. In its annual list, Forbes ranked colleges and universities in the U.S. based on the return on investment and outcomes top schools delivered for their students. According to Forbes, their methodology highlighted schools whose students graduated on time, secured high salaries and low debt; and went on to have successful careers. SFU welcomes more than 100 alumni and community mentors to campus Oct. 17- 22. The event is an excellent way for current students to benefit from the professional expertise of past graduates, many of whom are returning to campus for Homecoming celebrations that weekend.

SFU student Damian Tobias' essay was chosen as this year's recipient of a $5,000 Father Tom Schaefer Scholarship from SAGE Scholars Educational Foundation.

Space Sciences and Engineering Mobile Interactive Exhibit for Rural Areas: Earth to Moon is a three-part display being built by faculty, staff, and students for display in rural communities of the Appalachian Mountains in Central Pennsylvania.

Washington Monthly recently released its annual 2022 College Guide with Saint Francis University landing on three distinction lists: #23 Best Bang for the Buck in the Northeast #19 Top 200 Master's Universities Best Colleges for Student Voting Honor Roll Since 2005, the Washington Monthly has ranked colleges based on their contribution to the public good in three broad categories: social mobility, research, and promoting public service.

The Saint Francis University Community Blanketeers collection will begin September 28 and run through November 2, 2022.

SFU has once again made the prestigious cut as one of the “Best Regional Universities" in the North and this time around, the university holds a new recognition, “Top Performer in Social Mobility,” from the nationally known college ranking publication.

STUDENT SUMMER SPOTLIGHT: Over the summer, General Engineering student Nathan Lamb worked at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Connecticut. During his internship he supported construction of missile tubes for the Columbia Class submarines, and reviewed and created technical documents to ensure the proper configuration management of missile tubes.

Two benches dedicated in honor and recognition of the special relationship between the University and Loretto Borough.
