Library Cats Grand Opening

Mitch Jubas, Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology, in collaboration with the SFU Library, are excited to welcome our new library residents. Two Shelter cats, Bones and Booth, now reside at the lower level of the library. During the semester, they will enjoy human company and learn some basic tricks. Opportunities to meet with them will be created in a few weeks, and they will become available for adoption at the end of the semester. This program aims to enrich the educational experience of SFU students, enhance our partnership with our local community, and embody the concepts of active citizenship and community-engaged pedagogy.

We will celebrate the grand opening of the “Library Cats” Program, and invite the campus community to see our new library residents, Bones and Booth on Wed, 10/9/24. 4:00pm, Library Lower Level.
